A motorcyclist was killed in a motorcycle accident, on Thursday, in Eldorado County after attempting to pass other vehicles on a curve, causing him to crash head-on with a Ford van. The motorcycle was split in two on impact. The Ford driver was not injured.

Witnesses say, the man, 35, was traveling on his 1994 Suzuki motorcycle southbound and driving recklessly, speeding and doing stunts, said California Highway Patrol. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Cause of death, blunt trauma to the head. Prior to the accident, he was doing wheel stands and burning his bike tires.

CHP is waiting on toxicology reports to determine if alcohol or drugs were involved in the crash.
