Two Killed in Motorcycle Accident

Tuesday, authorities identified the couple that was killed in a motorcycle accident that happened this past weekend in Carpinteria, California.

The motorcycle driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which happened Sunday at 1pm, said California Highway Patrol. The driver's wife died an hour later at the hospital.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation. Presently, all that is clear is the motorcyclists drifted out of the lane they were traveling in and crashed with an oncoming car. The driver failed to negotiate the right curve in the road.

The passenger and driver of the car involved in the crash, suffered minor injuries.
